Ying-fung was a Ch'an monk who had received instruction from Ch'an master Nan-chuan. From his meditative practice, Ying-fung attained some supernatural powers. Once he saw two armies fighting each other. In order to stop the fight, he flew over the battlefield and the soldiers were too busy looking at him flying to fight. He did many unusual things like this. To show his miraculous power, he died standing on his head and nobody was able to overturn him. His sister was a nun, who came and scolded him, "Old brother, when you were alive you did not behave according to the rules. Now when you died, you still want to show off and confuse people." After saying this, she touched the body lighly, and it fell down immediately.
I'm surprised nobody has guessed why it looks this way. It's the reflection off the back of a large light bulb. The way the metal bends stretches out the lighted area. Very creative though.. I've really enjoyed all of your ideas in your gallery

"And the silver in her hair shines in the cold November air You hear the tolling bell And touch the silk in your lapel And as the tear drops rise to meet the comfort of the band You take her frail hand And hold on to the dream."

Pereant, inquit, qui ante nos nostra dixerant.
All things considered, insanity seems to be the best alternative.

Taste the sunset's last breath...as you glimpse the broken sky.
