Critics warn that tinkering with genes could introduce toxins and other harmful chemicals into our food supply. Proponents say biotechnology will create more healthful fruits and vegetables and reduce our dependence on pesticides and herbicides.
While the potential benefits of genetic engineering can seem alluring, some experts think those benefits may not be worth the risk.

I am very passionate about the debate, and with no doubt support GMO foods. While we should first develop more healthy and viable plants, I think cosmetic changes like this would be a great future product in everyday stores!

Im a lover of science, not rumors. Check your facts, there is no harm from gmo's no matter how hard people try to find them. People use fear of the unknown to persuade you.

There is some risk but GM food are probably the most tested and studied crops and food product. If we show the caution we should have from common sense it will definitely be worth the risks, and btw, just about everything comes with a risk.
