Depending on whom you listen to, genetically modified (GM)foods are either an environmental catastrophe waiting to happen or the salvation of the world. Critics warn that tinkering with genes could introduce toxins and other harmful chemicals into our food supply. Proponents say biotechnology will create more healthful fruits and vegetables and reduce our dependence on pesticides and herbicides. While the potential benefits of genetic engineering can seem alluring, some experts think those benefits may not be worth the risk.
Hhmmm... are those apples perhaps the same alluring ones that tempted Adam?

My dear friend, I thank you, and again. I owe you nothing less than my warmest red - crimson, perhaps; For I am the music, and you are the inspiration
Note: Some people who have used certain products containing genetically modified ingredients have found alien fibers growing under their skin. Upon testing these fibers, scientists have found that they do not match ANY fiber found in nature. SCARY!
Also, the main goal of genetically modified food is to put control of the world's food into the hands of a single corporation: Monsanto...the makers of Agent Orange. They hope to stop everyone else from producing food...what better way to control the masses?
If you care about the future of humanity, don't buy in to GMOs.

Yes, the apples may be pretty, but are they good for mankind? This is a tough question and I can see the benefits and the drawbacks. Perhaps it is still too early to tell.
