"YOU'VE BEEN LIVING IN A DREAM WORLD, NEO"

That is what Morpheus, a character in “The Matrix” movie said to Neo as he explained that the world had been largely destroyed in a great battle between the computers and the humans. The conquered humans were kept in a sedated state of mind, living in a dream world. All but a few were perfectly content to serve as slaves to the computers. Shocked that everything he knew of the world around him was only a virtual reality, Neo could barely breathe.

The premise of the movie, while science fiction, quite accurately sums up the situation in nowadays world. The parallels are uncanny. And it’s enough to take your breath away.

great photo, and concept. I believe in the Matrix theory, and the thought scares me every day.
Is it an eye, or a drop? hands?

maybe we are living in a dream world, not so much a dream world, but a world within another...i'm no longer skeptical.

You make a good point. Nice art as always :)

Its really interesting especially in the world we live in and never ceases to me how man has created the computer and yet hands over control of his life whereby he becomes a slave to it. And most just follow along ...reminds me of Animal Farm, like the George Orwell book ! Good concept :)

Make my today's better and my yesterdays always a part of me

From time to time I have the dream in which I KNOW I'm dreaming. Then, sometimes I "wake up" but it's still part of the dream... And it occured to me a few times that this cycle repeated many times in a single dream. So I was like five times absolutely sure that now at last I've waken up until I realize that I'm still sleeping. This really made me wondering when I wake up "for real" then - is this really the final level of consciousness???

Art can't be defined and thus no opinion is "correct". So take it easy... :meditation:
