What I am saying is not about Judaism but rather how the "religion" of Islam is little more than a totalitarian edict upon whomsoever may be ensnared by it. It may have at one distant time had a true spiritual nature but now, in far too many ways it woefully oppressive.
To take from the above, "And the stupidest religion of all is Islam. When one reads the Koran one is devastated, devastated." I take as not to say that all who follow Islam are despicable but rather, that which is promoted within Sharia and by association, the Koran, there is a despicable and "devastating" nature.
I have read the various demands and edicts of Sharia and a good bit of the Koran and there is nothing I have found which speaks to the favor of Islam.
The above statement by Michel Houellebecq denotes his aversion to Islam and I for one, until I see a different face of Islam am inclined to agree. Show me the kind, compassionate & forgiving face of Islam and I will stand corrected.
To that I will state accordingly, that all religions or "isms" have those veins of zealotry that taint the waters for all others of the respective faiths and as well all onlookers.
If Islam does not want the insults, then perhaps it is up to Islam to clean it's own house before chastising others of their habits and behaviors.
